With a pear-shaped cut that combines the brilliance and design style of both round brilliant and marquise diamonds, resulting in a single-point shape with a rounded end, these earrings add a touch of elegance to any outfit.
Part of the diamond category, moissanite can be cut into any shape, making it impossible to tell it apart from a natural diamond.

The Pear Brilliance 3-prong setting earrings are created with 0.5, 1, 2 or 4 carat moissanites, set in platinum-plated silver or yellow gold. They are marked for both silver and the carat of the moissanites. The carat marking is identical to that of diamonds.

We use 100% platinum-plated 925 silver and the finest moissanites.

The clarity of the moissanites is VVS1 and the color is D.

Weight: between 2-2.5 gr.

The earrings come packaged in an elegant jewelry box and gift bag, along with the warranty certificate, the GRA certificate of authenticity (issued by the GLOBAL GEMOLOGICAL RESEARCH ACADEMY Institute) and a special cloth for silver care.

Moissanite is similar to diamond in several ways: it is transparent and hard (9-9.5 on the Mohs scale), compared to 10 for diamond; it has a refractive index between 2.65-2.69 (2.42 for diamond). Moissanite is therefore more brilliant than diamond.

The gemstone’s refractive index is higher than that of a diamond (between 2.65-2.69 (2.42 for diamond)), resulting in a stunning display of light and brilliance. Moissanite is similar to diamond in terms of hardness: it is transparent and hard (9-9.5 on the Mohs scale), compared to 10 for diamond, making it the second hardest stone in the world.
It is also quite difficult for an untrained eye to tell the difference between a diamond and a moissanite.

Some information about the pear cut:

"The optimal pear shape is one with a polished girdle and a rounded base, or "equal shoulders". However, as with the oval cut, a more attenuated pear shape can elongate the fingers, so it is important to reconcile these two qualities. In addition, the color is often more visible towards the tip of the pear shape, so to ensure a uniform tone throughout the stone, it is advisable to opt for colors H and above."

The pear shape can suffer from the so-called "bow-tie effect", where light passing through the diamond casts a shadow over the central facets of the stone. This shadow can be reduced by changing the depth of the pavilion and by adjusting the angles of the table and facets to better diffuse the light in the central area. This effect also occurs in Heart, Marquise and Oval shapes.
