Brilliant Hoops silver earrings, platinum plated, set with 4 mm Moissanite stones, 0.3 carats each, totaling 3 carats (0.3 x 5; 1.5 CT x 2), D color, VVS1 clarity, excellent cut. The inner diameter of the earring is 2 cm.
The earrings are marked and stamped on the inside, for both silver and moissanite. The stamp is identical to that of diamonds.
The weight is approximately 4 grams.
The earrings come packaged in an elegant jewelry box and gift bag, along with the warranty certificate, the GRA certificate of authenticity (issued by the GLOBAL GEMOLOGICAL RESEARCH ACADEMY Institute) and a special silver care cloth.
Moissanite is similar to diamond in several ways: it is transparent and hard (9-9.5 on the Mohs scale), compared to 10 for diamond; it has a refractive index between 2.65-2.69 (2.42 for diamond). Moissanite is therefore more brilliant than diamond.
Each moissanite (>0.5 CT) has a unique code that can be found on the certificate of authenticity and warranty.
